Currently JAL is USD700 more than ANA (I'm kicking my self for not pulling the trigger last week when JAL was cheaper than ANA). I've flown with JAL before and had good experience, that's why I'm entertaining choosing JAL even though they are more expensive. JAL has 2-4-2 on their 787 (787-9) ANA has 3-3-3 on their 787 (787-9) I would say, that 2-4-2 is better than 3-3-3. I am choosing 787 because I think it is much more comfortable airplane than the other (777, A330) and nowadays when I search for flights I specificaly want JAL/789 when possible. RealArc.
