Achladies is a well-known tourist area located about five kilometres from Skiathos town. It's not really a village, it is a hamlet, built around the beautiful sandy beach. There are hotels, apartments, rooms for rent, bakeries and shops. On the beach there is a very nice beachbar/restaurant called “Maniatis Garden”.The only way to reach the island is by ferry. There are ferries from Volos, Agios Konstantinos, Evia but also from other islands of the Sporades (Skiathos and Alonissos).
